GIRO D’ITALIA 2023 – PERFORATED SHEETS REMEMBERING “IL CAMPIONISSIMO”

A monument made by Corten perforated sheet in honor of Fausto Coppi aka “il Campionissimo” and his brother Serse, both lived and used to ride racing bikes in these areas for years, before becoming what we ALL know. We therefore accepted with great enthusiasm and passion the initiative proposed to us by the Municipality of Villalvernia (AL) aimed at celebrating the memory of the Coppi brothers in the area.

With about 30,250 holes with variable pitch on the Corten sheet metal, we recreated the image of Fausto and with 30,250 holes as well, the image of his brother Serse: as many holes as the km traveled in the most prestigious victories by the Campionissimo and his brotherly follower.

Today, during its eleventh lap (Camaiore – Tortona), Giro d’Italia racing bike competition will further give a great tribute to the Coppi brothers just passing right to the monument we created.
